    Manhattan Landmark - Barrymore Theater
    The Barrymore Theatre, located at 243 West 47th Street, opened on December 20, 1928 with The Kingdom of God, a play selected by leading lady Ethel Barrymore. She went on to perform many roles at the theater over the course of her popular career. The lavish official Broadway theater has been home to many notable productions since the Roaring 20’s, including “A Streetcar named Desire”, “ Wait Until Dark”, and “The Glass Menagerie”.
